Our Assistant Instructors -
Master Joseph Monaghan, 5th Degree Black Belt
Master Monaghan had a broad martial arts background before he began studying TSD nearly 20 years ago.  Through those years he's amassed innumerable trophies in competition, and proudly watched daughter Denay rise to the level of 2nd Degree BB.  Now an instructor at Yi's Karate in Washington Twp., NJ under Master C.S. Kim, he says, "Tang Soo Do is an art that you can practice your entire life and still have more to learn."
Master Sandra Brida, 5th Degree Black Belt
Master Brida has the distinction of being one of only 4 female masters in the IMA, and she is the first female master from the Washington Township School!  Master Brida originally started training in 1985 to better control a heart condition known as PSVT.  Several members of Sandy's family have also trained with her through the years.  Daughter Sandra, 28, and grandson Michael, 25, both reached cho dan bo level, and daughter Andrea, 33, now a 6th grade teacher, achieved a black belt!  In addition to Sandra's hectic training and teaching schedule, this mother of 6 and grandmother of 15 is the co-owner of Brida Transportation and Stone in Glassboro, NJ.  In her spare time she can often be found at the local shooting range doing target practice or fishing in the Keys!
Master Walter Jones, 4th Degree Black Belt
Master Jones has been a devoted student under Master C.S. Kim since 1986 and regularly teaches at the Washington Twp. school. Through the years martial arts have helped him gain patience and understanding that helps moderate his Type A personality. An Air Force veteran, and currently a Regional Manager for Modell’s Sporting Goods, Master Jones’ hobbies include parasailing, snorkeling and chess.

Master Bruce Clark, 4th Degree Black Belt
Training is a family affair for Master Clark and sons Christopher, age 18 (2nd Dan), and Tyler, age 12 (1st  Dan). An entrepeneur who runs a national marketing and consulting firm, New Clients, Inc., Master Clark started training when he was in his 20’s. He left at the red belt level, but vowed to come back, which he did at age 39 in 1989. This Mullica Hill resident has been a dedicated student of Master C.S. Kim ever since!
