About the school -
Yi's Karate Institute of Washington Township has been serving South Jersey since 1983. The school offers traditional martial arts classes  for all ages - ranging from 4 years on up. Classes are offered six days a week.  The teaching staff includes school founder and Chief Instructor, Master C.S. Kim, a 7th Degree Black Belt, as well as Master Joseph Monaghan, 5th Degree Black Belt, Master Sandra Brida, 4th Degree Black Belt, Master Walter Jones, 4th Degree Black Belt,  Master Bruce Clark, 4th Degree Black Belt, and many highly competent Black Belt Instructors.  

About the Chief Instructor-


Master Chom San Kim 

Master Chom San Kim, Chief Instructor
          Master Kim has been spreading his knowledge and love of the martial arts to this South Jersey community for nearly 20 years.  His high standards of teaching and unique talent for motivating students of all ages have earned him the respect and admiration of the hundreds of students he has promoted to Black Belts through the years!        
          Master C.S. Kim, a native of South Korea, started his  training in the martial arts at the age of  9.  From 1976 to 1979 he served in the Korean military in Inchon, South Korea, where he taught martial arts.   He emigrated to the United States in 1982, and opened Yi's Karate Institute of Washington Township the following year.
          Master Kim, a 7th Degree Black Belt,  is the Executive Vice President of the International Martial Arts Association. Master Kim resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife, a son and three daughters.
